We started Café Nord in 2018 in a 24-square-metre shop on Niederdorfstrasse with one Faema and a stubborn idea — that a neighbourhood café could roast its own beans, bake its own bread, and still know every regular by name.
Seven years on, we still do all of that. We've added a few seats, an espresso bar, and a baker who comes in at 4am. We haven't added a chain.
